New Tata Nexon Spied At Plant
Tata Nexon is a well-received sub-4 meter SUV in India. A capacious cabin, an unorthodox style, and engines that are appreciated by the majority along with the recent 5 Star NCAP safety rating.
A recent imaged surfaced online (Source) which shows that Tata may be working on an electric or a hybrid version of the Nexon. Tata has been working on a Hybrid power train for some time.
The blurred picture doesn’t confirm thisrumour but can confirm that this vehicle is identical to the current Nexon.
If we look carefully, the radiator on this vehicle is absent which indicates that this could be an electric vehicle.
Recently, Tata showcased the Altroz EV at the Geneva Motor Show. The Altroz EV will come with a Permanent Magnet AC Motor and a single speed gearbox & its battery could be charged upto 80% in just 1 hour. Further, it is expected to have a range of 200-230 km per charge cycle.
