Honda Amaze CVT Now in The Top VX Trim
Honda Amaze the bestseller of Honda in India since its launch. The Amaze was launched in May 2018 and was the first car to come with a diesel CVT.
The CVT was available in the S & V trims and was not available on the Top trim i.e. VX. However, as the demand increased, Honda has introduced CVT in the top trim of both petrol and diesel of the Amaze.
The VX CVT trim petrol is priced at Rs. 8.56 lakhs and the VX CVT trim diesel is priced at Rs. 9.56 lakhs.
Mr. Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Sales & Marketing, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “The 2nd Generation Honda Amaze set a new benchmark in its segment with over 20% of our customers opting for advanced CVT variants in both petrol and diesel. We are delighted to introduce the new VX CVT variant of Honda Amaze to complete the top spec VX range and offer increased choice to our customers.”
The new VX CVT variant of the Amaze will offera 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto & Apple Carplay, additional USB port, rear camera with guidelines, driver side window one touch up with pinch guard, steering mounted voice control switches, IR remote control, and in-built satellite-linked turn by turn navigation.
The Amaze is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 88bhp & 110 Nm and a 1.5 diesel that makes 80 Bhp & 160 Nm. Honda Amaze is available in CVT & a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the manual diesel amaze is more powerful which makes 98.6 Bhp & 200 Nm of torque.
